I have been a member of the DCS for twenty years having joined with no ability to read music, no experience of choral singing and no requirement to audition. But, under our musical director, Simon Twiselton, who plays the piano with one hand, conducts with the other and can sing in all the disciplines at the same time whilst helping us to create music, we put on performances I never thought possible. The experience is always uplifting and it is now a part of my life and we welcome newcomers of all ages. Do come and give us a try!”
